Instructions

  1. 1

    Dough:

    Step 1
  2. 2

Quickly work all the ingredients for the dough into a shortcrust dough. If the dough is relatively soft, put it in the fridge briefly and let it rest.

    Step 2
  3. 3

Then roll it out onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and press up an edge.

    Step 3

Cheese filling:

  1. 4

Preheat the oven (200°C conventional (top/bottom heat))

  2. 5

Drain the mandarins well in a sieve and catch the juice to use for the glaze later.

  3. 6

Beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy.

  4. 7

Then beat in the vanilla pudding powder, oil, quark, milk and lemon (juice and zest) until you have a creamy mixture.

    Step 7
  5. 8

Next, spread the cheese filling evenly over the cake base and top with the mandarin pieces.

    Step 8
  6. 9

Bake the cake in the preheated oven for approx. 35-40 min. and then let it cool completely.

    Step 9

Glaze:

  1. 10

Once the cheesecake has cooled, the glaze can be applied.

To do this, boil up the cake glaze according to the packet instructions (use the mandarin juice as the liquid - if there isn't enough, please top up with water) and quickly spread it evenly over the cheesecake.

    Step 10
  2. 11

    Tip:

Cut into pieces, the cake can be frozen very well.
